Default cut rods

Hello
Hey any one had the top of their rods cut and hooks removed after a couple of years.

This has been mentioned on another forum Rosie but not familiar with it on here. Is there a reason why your surgeon wants to do this. The mind is boggling as to why. Are you able to elaborate.

Yep hook moving as muscles glide over it causing great discomfort. I am sure it has always done this but got worse now. I have had a clenched jaw , hyperextended neck and shoulders in pulled up for position for months trying to alleviated the pain. Rods sticking in too. Hook has done its job so can come out. Waiting for reply from Dr.
