Advice on Surgeons
Hi all,
After a few years of dealing with a severe scoliosis I have decided to take the surgery route but I am looking to enquire about some second opinions. I know no surgeons cannot be mentioned on here but i was hoping through private message if anyone could offer me some advice on the best surgeons in the private health systems of either Victoria Or Nsw as I am currently in Perth which only has the public system and have heard that there is some differences with regards to reduced waiting lists etc with this option. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Sorry to jump on this thread... I need your expertise! Looking for some recommendations. I just had my surgery date (20 November) cancelled due to a scheduling error with the second surgeon. I was going through public in Perth but I can't wait for another date now. Now the waitlist is banked until 2020! I'm devastated and had been planning my entire life around this coming date. I have private cover and am considering taking this route instead. Can anyone recommend a surgeon ANYWHERE in Australia who can do it ASAP? I'd appreciate any input, as with my age (28), curvature and life situation, waiting until 2020 is not feasible. Feel free to message. Thanks so much for your help.
