Default Schroth helped me

Hi. Just want to update. A year ago I found out my scoliosis has progressed to 59degrees T and to 44 L. A big shock as the last time I had x rays 25 years ago it was 42 T and can't remember the L. So last year I went to Sydney to learn Schroth as I refused to go and see an orthopaedic specialist as I never had any pain or problems before. Today, after a year of doing Schroth every second day for 20minutes (4 exercises) I have learnt that my cobb angle has improved from 59 to 53. It was done by the same radiographer at the same intervals. She even said in her report she is uncertain of how this improvement happened, but was happy that there were no progression. I didn't stand in a corrected way or anything. My dr had a good chuckle about it and feels he wants to recommend this therapy now. He has never heard of it before I got to him and told him about Schroth.

6 Degrees might not seem a lot, but to me it is heavenly news and a huge encouragement to continue with it. I really struggled the last few months keeping it up as I kept wondering if it really was working. I haven't hoped for improvement, I just don't want any more progression and I got a bit more than I hoped for. Praise be to God.

I am so happy that you are feeling good and your curvature is correcting. Can you recommend a Schroth practitioner in Sydney?

I'm so glad that Schroth helped you. I'm really wanting to learn this method however I live in Brisbane and have been trying to find a Schroth practitioner near me. I know there are a couple in Sydney and one in Melbourne.

If anybody has any information about practitioners in Brisbane I would be really grateful.
