Hi, I did the course in Woodbridge at Scoliosis SOS in August last year, and thought it would be good to be in contact with people in Australia who have done it. Due to a variety of reasons, I still don't have the proper equipment set up so would be keen to know of anyone who has had the wall equipment made, particularly in Melbourne.

Hi Rosy,
I have just done the Schroth based training course and got my wall bars from Acromat in Adelaide. their price included delivery. I have some plan drawings if you want to make up the bars yourself. http://www.acromat.com.au/pdfs/A14.pdf regards Larry |

I am currently looking into doing the ScoliosisGold course, and would be interested to know what people thought about the course?
Have you been able to maintain the improvements you made or continued improving with the at home exercises? Cheer, Jamie |

Hi,
I'm new to this site. I had harrington rods put in 24 years ago at age 16. I've managed pain ok in the past with exercise but the last three months it has been bad. Pain at night only. What is the course and equipment you are talking about? I'd be interested to know. Thanks Annie |

I cannot more expressingly communicate the positive experience, physical benefits, educational knowledge and life improvement that attending Scoliosis SOS in London, using the ScolioGold method, has given me.
See website: http://www.scoliosissos.com/ Read Erika Maude's inspirational story: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/ar...ted-spine.html Read about the history of Scroth method: http://www.scoliosisjournal.com/content/6/1/17 See medical proof that non-surgical method works: http://www.scoliosisjournal.com/content/3/1/20 The program run by the well-educated physiotherapists at Scoliosis SOS is remarkable. I was already living in London so the travel wasn't an issue for me, but I would say that it is worth every dollar: giving you life-long education and techniques that will enable you to take control of your scoliosis and maintain, if not improve, your curves for life. Highly recommend to all. Do not go to surgery as a first point of call. Do not listen to any doctor or surgeon who tells you that life-threatening surgery is the only way. good luck. |

A comment by Dr Scoliosis.
Exercise therapies in randomised, controlled clinical trials have not been shown to prevent the long-term progression of structural scoliosis. |
