Unhappy Re: Hi from a newcomer!

Pina, I feel the pain regarding not being able to play your favourite sport. I had to give up netball which I have played saince the age of 9. I have read on this and another forum about ome kids going back to their sports, however, my specialist said definitely no contact sports for me.

Hi everyone
I am also a newcomer to this great forum which I have been following since my 14 year old daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis 4 mths ago with a thoracic curve of 44 degrees. She is now 50 degrees and with alot of gut wrenching thoughts have decided to go ahead with surgery. Trying to deal with the agonising wait!! Has anyone got feedback as to who is the best dr in Brisbane? I need reasurance we are going down the right path? Please private message me or email Thanks.
