Red face Time to heal after fusion for pregnancy

Hi all,

I haven't had my surgery yet but I have been wondering how long I should wait before planning my next pregnancy? 1 year, 2, 3??

I think I would be worried about the added strain on your back and baby stealing all my nutrients required to heal. And the birth

I have a toddler and I know that another pregnancy before I get my back fixed is out of the question. My curve became 5 degrees worse during pregnancy and is now causing severe pain. Also, lifting a 10+kg child hurts! I used to be ok when I could set my own limits, but as parents know, kids needs come first!

So if anyone can share their post-op pregnancy stories or advice it would be very much appreciated!

Thanks.
