Default X-rays and Breast Cancer? HELP

Hi,

I've heard a lot lately about the fact that scoliosis patients develop breast cancer due to the amount of x-rays they have had. Has anyone spoken to their doctor about this? I understand there is an increased risk but is it a significant increase or not?

I've had like 15-20 x-rays in the past 8 years and the thought of developing breast cancer scares me immensely.

Please help,

Jade

Hullo Jade

Have you read the information about x-ray exposure on our Frequently Asked Questions page linked to below?
