Hi there.
My daughter had a T4-L1 fusion in 2013. She is now in Year 11 and doing her Research Project on the benefits of playing sport to people with scoliosis, pre and post-surgery. She was a National-level swimmer before her surgery and has managed to continue at a National level post-surgery with fairly minimal disruption.
