Red face Growth rod surgery for 7 yr old

Hi there
I'm looking for anyone who has recently gone through growth rod surgery for a child aged around > 10 years old
We are just looking for advice/opinions on the procedures that have been offered to us?
Thanks in advance

Hi there,
So sorry I haven't been on the forum for a very long time. I can certainly help with any questions you have. Our daughter had staples/growing rods put in when she was 9. We had our 8th surgery 6 weeks ago fusing L1-T3. Going from 59 degrees in 2010 to a lovely 10 degrees now! Its a very long journey! Ive had the most wonderful support from some beautiful ladies on this forum. I would love to hear more about your daughter. Ive sent contact in PM. All the very best!
Sending big
Tracy
