Default Re: size of the brace

The post op brace my son wore was very light , made of lightweight aluminium in 2 slats down the back and one around the hips, tailored to fit, with Velcro ties arounde shoulders and abdomen with a soft fabric plate over the tummy. It was very comfortable and you could hardly see it under a jumper, a hoody hides it completely because its really just the bit at the top that stuck out a little, long hair would help too probably.
It was actually a bit tricky to wean off becos the support it gave prevented the tiredness slouch that started to cause aching.
Can you explain what category 2 means?
