Hi Guys,

Surgery went really well! Infection got cleaned out, as best they can. Now we wait for pathology...again. We are looking at fusion end of year/early next year. Just glad this one is over with, for Emily. Brett, all the best, will be thinking of you guys on Tuesday. Sending our prayers!!! 2 days, will be hard. Ive not heard of 2 days on this forum before? Maybe RB has? But these amazing surgeons know their stuff, and do what it takes to make our kids straight, to enjoy a painfree life. Thinking of your family. Stay strong.

Trace & Em :-)

Hi Tracy, good to read that all is well. Yes I have heard of 2 stage surgery - anterior & posterior. There is obviously a reason why he has staged Victorias over two days -all cases are different. I had anterior & posterior both done on the same day. My op as you may have read on the forum, lasted 6 1/2 hours. Victoria may have a health reason or otherwise or it can even by the way the surgeon chooses to do his surgeries. Best wishes to you Victoria of a successful surgery and rapid recovery. RB
