Red face Something to help the pain!!! :(

My name is Lisa and I'm 23! I have had scoliosis since I was 16! I only noticed it as I has a dip in my chest and my sides are different ( one side straight one side is curved into ribs) I had my last MRI scan in 2008 and was not bad enough to operate! However now I'm working in a physical demanding job I'm in a lot of pain! I have to wait a year to just see a specialist ( which can't come quick enough) I currently see a chiropractor every week and on work cover as I keep getting bad rib sprains ( 4th to 10th rib) which feels like broken ribs! The head aches are crazy and stabbing strains! Every one tells me when i stopped growing it would ease up but I'm sure I've stop growing and the pain is stopping me work! Is anyone in the same situation as me? Does anyone have pain relief until I go to my specialist appointment? I need some advise as its getting unbearable to deal with and I'm only young

Hi Lisa, ask your Doctor if you are a candidate for spinal injections. I had facet joint injections and they worked a charm for me for about a year. Best wishes

Hi Lisa I'm also waiting to see a specialist it's been months since I sent my forms to see one the paper work got sent to wrong email which was very frustrating so I'm just waiting to hear from them which is so annoying as I want to know what's going on with me and what I can do or what needs to be done for my scoliocsis and khyposis. I deffiently know how you feel I'm in pain all day every day so much some times I cant even do the house work. I suggest you go to your gp and tell them all about you and your condition they should be able to help you my gp put me on Mobic and Tramadol which helps about 40% of my pain. I hope I helped you in some way good luck
