Default Rib Hump

Hey Guys

Not sure if anyone out there can give me some advice on rib hump surgery. My son has progressed quite badly since I was last on here, probably due to him not wearing his brace! However we are booked in for surgery in a March next year, but I am really worried that the spinal fusion will not take away the hump. Will we be offered the option of the rib hump surgery and would this be done at the same time as the fusion or afterwards and will it mean he will be in hospital longer, also does it completely go away? My son is paranoid about the hump, more so than his 'bendy back'!!
Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Gilly
