Hey everyone just an update have had my surgery as of the 16th of September at 1.30pm was pretty nervous at around 1pm they came and pushed my bed into the theater had a big needle and I was out woke up in recovery was pretty drugged up and don't really remember alot. The 3rd day in hospital my surgeon came in and asked if i felt up to walking I felt okay so I rolled over and with help walked up and down the hallway twice which was terrifying once I was back in bed I crashed pretty hard and slept a few hours the next day I walked again but about three times the distance. I was able to walk quite well with no pain but was left exhausted. I was discharged from hospital 5 days after my operation which was pretty quick compared to some patients that were still in bed on the 5th day said the surgeon. After leaving hospital I caught a cab to the airport and flew back to tassie to live with my mum which makes things easier. Im still in quite a bit of pain in the morning mostly but feel heaps better usually by 10am I am able to do most things now but still take it pretty easy just watching movies and reading. Anyway thanks everyone for the help and advice good luck to everyone else going through something similar Cheers Jack.
